Accommodation at the Košetice Observatory

Arrange your arrival in advance with a competent observatory staff member kosetice@chmi.cz.

Parking on the Observatory premises

  • By the garage area (outside the marked space)

  • In the upper parking lot for visitors

Keys to the accommodation (building 3) are located in a coded box (please request the code in advance)

Assigned room is unlocked, the key is inside the room.

Gate key and building key are in the conference room (green box).

Sign the accommodation book and the infrastructure access form.

Linen and towels are available in the room.

Shower gel is not provided

A small “kitchen” is available in building 3.

It is equipped a microwave and a fridge-freezer.

Please keep it tidy and leave the fridge empty.

The tap water is drinkable.

Recycle your trash.

On the day of departure, please leave the room by 10 a.m. (possible arrangement).

Take used linen to the laundry basket in the basement of building 3 under the stairs.

Smoking on the observatory premises is prohibited. Specialised measurements are carried out at the observatory and in the surrounding area. Cigarette smoke, fires and engine exhaust affect our results.
